About Me & My Approach

With over a decade of language teaching, two years of guiding hikers through Liguria’s natural beauty, fifteen years as a vegan, and 17 years living abroad across three continents, I’ve combined my love for the outdoors, languages, and responsible travel into a unique offering. I offer unique experiences between Genova and La Spezia, including the Portofino and Cinque Terre parks. I specialise in personalising walking tours that allow visitors to experience the authentic side of Liguria – through language practice, connecting with local artisans, and enjoying the land’s rich heritage.

My approach is all about immersion – whether you’re learning Italian or discovering local food traditions and artisanal crafts. I believe that travel should be about more than just sightseeing; it should be about connecting with the environment and the people who call this beautiful region home. Through hiking tours and language immersion, I aim to show visitors the Liguria I’ve come to love – a place where nature, culture, and respect for the land come together.

The hikes can be tailored for all levels, whether it’s a short, easy walk or a more challenging trail.
• Language Immersion Experiences: I offer one-to-one or small group language classes while on the trails, allowing your clients to practise Italian in a relaxed, immersive environment. Learning becomes part of the journey, where language skills are developed naturally through conversation and cultural exchange.
• Integration of Local Culture: I personally collaborate with local farms, artisans, and chefs to incorporate their crafts and produce into the tours. Clients can visit organic farms, taste Ligurian specialties, and experience the traditional crafts that define the region.
